Camden Yards
Very much a throwback to ballparks from years gone by, Baltimore’s Camden Yards often elicits comparisons to its early 20th-century influences Ebbets Field, Shibe Park, Fenway Park, Crosley Field, Wrigley Field, and the Polo Grounds. After replacing Memorial Stadium as the home of the Baltimore Orioles in 1993, Camden Yards started the trend of building asymmetrically-shaped retro ballparks in downtown districts that has continued into the 21st century.
