Dyckman Oval

Washington Heights and Inwood’s claim to fame in baseball was in three places: the Polo Grounds, Hilltop Stadium and the Dyckman Oval. These stadiums were used for the New York Giants, the New York Highlanders (later to become the Yankees) and the New York Cuban Stars, respectively.
