Fenway Park

Second perhaps only to the old Yankee Stadium in terms of baseball lore, Boston’s Fenway Park has hosted through the years more historic moments and great players than any other ballpark, other than The House That Ruth Built. The original home of Babe Ruth, Fenway Park possesses one of sports’ most iconic physical characteristics – the Green Monster. It also has served as the venue for legendary moments such as Carlton Fisk’s walk-off home run in the 12th inning of Game Six of the 1975 World Series.

It may not be ergonomically correct and let me tell you there are some world class weird bounces and funny hops but it is Boston's! Mike 9:19PM 11/11/11
  • Anonymous said: It is way past time that MLB should regulate all ballparks. The Home Run Fence and Foul Ball Territory should ALL be the same. NYY's have a ridiculous 320' RF fence. The Green Monster should NEVER be. It would be very easy to regulate and more important,it would be more fair for everyone. If that ever happens, you will know who the real Home Run leaders are. It only surprises me that they don't move the fence between innings. 10:37PM 11/07/11
