The members are the Brooklyn Atlantics, Cincinnati Red Stockings, Louisville Colonels(Eclipse (1882-1884) and later as the Louisville Colonels (1885-1891)), Philadelphia Athletics, Pittsburgh Alleghenys and St. Louis Brown Stockings. This AA will be considered a major league.
