The New York Yankees avoid salary arbitration when Chien-Ming Wang agrees to a $5 million, one-year deal to pitch in the Bronx. The 28-year-old right-handed starter missed the rest of the season after injuring his foot while running the bases in an inter-league game against Houston in mid-June.
