On November 22, 1993, the Texas Rangers sign free agent Will “The Thrill” Clark to a multi-year contract. The slick-fielding, hard-hitting Clark leaves the San Francisco Giants after eight seasons in the Bay Area. Clark, who batted .283 with 73 RBIs for the Giants, will raise his average to .329 with the Rangers in 1994.
