Here is a list of three great game 6 finishes:

October 27, 2011, the St. Louis Cardinal's down to the last strike in the 9th, hometown kid David Freese delivers a two run triple to tie the game at 7. The Rangers take the lead on a two run Josh Hamilton homerun, and the Cardinals again down 9-8 down to there last strike, Lance Berkman delivers a single to again tie the game at 9. In bottom of 11th, David Freese leading off the bottom of 11th, hits a walk off homerun.  

October 23, 1993, Joe Carter of the Toronto Blue Jays hits a dramatic three-run homer against Mitch Williams of the Philadelphia Phillies to end the World Series. Carter’s blow, which comes in the ninth inning of Game Six, gives the Blue Jays an 8-6 victory.

October 26 1991:Outfielder Kirby Puckett prevents two Atlanta runs with a leaping catch in the third inning and then lofts a sacrifice fly in the fifth to give the Twins the lead in Game Six of the World Series. The Braves tie it in the seventh, but Puckett turns out the lights in the 10th with a home run to force a seventh game. Full Series Recap

October 21, 1975, Carlton Fisk of the Boston Red Sox powers a dramatic 12th- inning home run to complete one of the most memorable games in World Series history. Playing in Game Six, Fisk homers off the foul pole at Fenway Park, giving the Red Sox a 7-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds. The Red Sox had trailed in the eighth inning, when Bernie Carbo hit a three-run, pinch-hit homer to tie the game
