Ben Sheets ends Cuba's 21-game Olympic winning streak with 4-0 shutout. This would be the first time since Baseball had been a medal sport in the Olympics that the Cuban team would not win the gold medal. This would also be only the second loss the Cuban national team would suffer in Olympic baseball history.
