Its the end of July and the time for talent tweaking is almost done.  Check out this article that is a totally unbiased (really....) take on what the top teams still have to do to be great in the playoffs.

Moves to make to get MLB teams from good to great — or great to champ

When Rays owner Stuart Sternberg was sizing up the trade season shortly after the All-Star break, he talked like everyone else. He had no idea what would transpire, except for this:

He is accustomed to watching the AL East powers throw around their resources this time of year. This season, however, the Red Sox and Yankees need not to focus so much on the regular season. Instead, they should be thinking about October.

Same for the Phillies, Rangers, Giants and Braves. Barring a stunning run by someone, they will make the postseason (Of course, their No. 1 obstacle at this point is this prediction.) But now is the best time for the super six to enhance their chances to play in late October. A look at how they can do so....
