Charles R. Muse (The Colonel)

    * Born August 19, 1917
    * Died May 5, 2005 in Sun City, FL USA

Charlie Muse spent 52 years working in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He is credited for creating the batting helmet at the request of Pirates General Manager Branch Rickey.
