C.J. Wilson Likely Violated MLB Policy With Twitter Prank; Is Discipline Coming?

"C.J. Wilson might have made more than just Mike Napoli and a mass of Ranger fans angry with his Twitter prank this week.

According to NBCSports.com's Craig Calcaterra , Wilson "probably" violated MLB's social media code by tweeting Napoli's phone number to his nearly 120,000 followers. Calcaterra points to two paragraphs of the code in particular that seem to incriminate Wilson.

Paragraph 4:

4. Displaying or transmitting Content that contains confidential or proprietary information of any MLB Entity or its employees or agents, including, for example, financial information, medical information, strategic information, etc.

And Paragraph 8:

8. Displaying or transmitting Content that constitutes harassment of an individual or group of individuals, or threatens or advocates the use of violence against an individual or group of individuals."
