Darvish will post; Blue Jays, Rangers, Yankees, and Red Sox interested

Don Nomura tweets that "Yu Darvish being posted tomorrow #darvish" @donnomura

Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports "Yu Darvish confirms on his blog that he is being posted:…" @dylanohernandez

Buster Olney tweets "Rival executives expect the Blue Jays, Rangers to bid big Yu Darvish; for Texas, the expected departure of C.J. Wilson may fuel the pursuit." @Buster_ESPN

Danny Knobler tweets "Rangers, Blue Jays, Yankees could be most likely for Darvish, who announced he will be posted to go to MLB" @DKnobler

Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports report "The Yankees, Blue Jays and Rangers are among the teams expected to bid for the negotiating rights to Darvish, sources say. Both Rangers general manager Jon Daniels and Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos saw Darvish pitch in Japan last season."

They also believe that the Red Sox could be a wild card in all of this. Valentine is believed to love Darvish and one source said "and Valentine likely knows the pitcher as well as anyone working for a major league club, having managed against him in Japan.".

It's believed that Darvish could get more than Daisuke Matsuzaka in both posting fee and salary.

It's possible that the Red Sox will be scared away after what happened with Matsuzaka but maybe Valentine and Darvish will be good for Matsuzaka's career.

The history of Japanese pitchers coming over to MLB is questionable.  It seems at first they come over and start hot, but fizzle after the first two years of their MLB career.

All of the reports have the Blue Jays and Rangers in on it. We also hear the Red Sox and Yankees.
