Giants and Royals trade Sanchez for Cabrera

Kansas City Royals tweet that the Royals acquired Jonathan Sanchez and Ryan Verdugo from Giants for OF Melky Cabrera.

Melky averages .275 with 11 home runs per season, however last year was his best offesnive season but he doesn't provide the offense that the Giants need.  The Royals get a pitcher to add to their staff but with a carreer 4.26 ERA and never able to finish the year over .500, it's interesteing to see how this trade works out.  Sanchez does put up great strikeout numbers and Cabrera is a good defensive outfielder.
