Johan Santana Feeling Fine After First Bullpen Session; Scheduled To Throw On Tuesday

"It's so far, so good for Johan Santana.

The Mets' lefty, who missed all of last season after having major shoulder surgery in September 2010, appears to have emerged unscathed from his first major test.

Santana threw a bullpen session on Friday — his first of the spring — and, according to pitching coach Dan Warthen, reported no ill effects.

Santana, who has at least two years and $49 million left on his deal, is scheduled to throw again on Tuesday."
