Neftali Feliz Throws 43-Pitch Bullpen Session, On Track To Start Tuesday

"Rangers manager Ron Washington said RHP Neftali Feliz had no issues during his 43-pitch bullpen session Sunday morning. If he reports no residual soreness, he is expected to pitch on Tuesday against San Diego and would be on track to open the season in the starting rotation.

Feliz left his start last Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs after three innings with shoulder stiffness. He was given several extra days of rest and played long-toss catch, then threw 27 pitches off the mound."
