Rangers' Josh Hamilton Could Eventually 'Ease On Over To First Base'

"On preferring to play center field:

"I enjoy getting more chances [to rob people of hits]. You get more chances to do it in center field. I like defense. I like taking away from guys, because I get plenty taken away from me so it's a little pay back. The reason I enjoy center field the most is because I played it my whole life. Played it since I was 8 years old, but it's not like I'm going to be pissed or upset if I'm not playing center field, you know, I'm happy to be playing anywhere."

On possibly playing first base in the future:

"My plan is to play outfield for four to five years, ease on over to first base, then ease on over to DH towards the end of the career. I used to play first. I enjoy it. You're in the game a lot more. You get more action over there so it's fun. I like it. " "
