Tigers to take their time in free agency

Jason Beck of MLB.com reports that the Tigers won't rush into the free-agent market last year.

"I don't think we're going to be rushing out like we did last year," team president/general manager Dave Dombrowski said on Tuesday. "We're in a different situation than we were last year, where we identified a couple guys right off the bat in Martinez and Benoit." - MLB
