Joel Sherman of the NY Post tweets "Broxton friend told me all things being equal wants to be close to Ga home. #Braves unlikely, maybe #Marlins or #Rays make sense" @Joelsherman1

Jerry Crasnick of ESPN tweets "Broxton looking at a straight 1-year deal to re-establish value. About a dozen clubs have asked to see his medical records." @jcrasnick

"#Rangers checked on Broxton before signing Joe Nathan, & #Rockies discussed him as an option if they trade Huston Street." @jcrasnick

"Some other clubs that could be in the mix: #Rays, #Marlins, #RedSox, #Twins, #Reds, to name a few." @jcrasnick

If we were to judge by proximity, the Rays are the closest.  The Marlins and Reds also have an outside shot, the Red Sox have the most money to offer, and the Twins offer a good chance to close. Broxton is trying to re-establish his value but I'm interested to see how much interest he will get as a closer.
