King III of the New York post reports "The Yankees have had a preliminary discussion with the agent for free agent pitcher Edwin JacksonJackson is 60-60 with a 4.46 ERA in 203 big league games (173 starts) and went a combined 12-9 with a 3.79 ERA this past season for the White Sox and World Series champion Cardinals. The right-hander was 5-2 with a 3.58 ERA in 13 games for the Cardinals. He went 1-1 with a 5.61 ERA in four postseason starts." - NY Post
