Yankees more likely to sign Swisher over Beltran

New York Daily News reports that "Nick Swisher seems set for a return to the Bronx next year after a baseball executive familiar with the Yankees' thinking said Thursday the team would “probably pick up” Swisher’s contract option.

Triggering Swisher’s $10.25 million option would likely mean that the Yanks would not pursue ex-Met Carlos Beltran as an answer in right field." - nydailynews

I without  doubt would choose Swisher over Beltran.  Beltran has higher potential but has rarely lived up to it. Swisher on the other hand, has played in at least 150 games and hit at least 22 home runs in each of the last five years.  Plus, having Joanna García in the big apple never hurt anyone.
