Yasuchika Negoro Biography by The Baseball Page

Yasuchika Negoro is the 11th commissioner of Nippon Pro Baseball, replacing Hiromori Kawashima. The first ever strike in NPB history happened in 2004 as the Orix Blue Wave and Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes announced plans that they were to merge. Negoro has mentioned that he plans to retire, but a successor has yet to be named to replace him.
