Don Drysdale Pitching

Don Drysdale Pitching

Best story ever about Drysdale....Willie Mays always dug in the batters box with BOTH feet and on one occasion while digging in realized 53 was pitching! Mays then proceeded to cover up his marks because he knew Drysdale would knock him down.....well Willie was correct! Drysdale proceeded to knock him down twice in the same at bat! Straight from Mays mouth being interviewed by Bob Costas!
