Jerry Reinsdorf Biography by The Baseball Page

Jerry Reinsdorf Biography by The Baseball Page

    * Born February 25, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY USA

Jerry Reinsdorf led a group that purchased the Chicago White Sox from Bill Veeck in 1981. He also became owner of the Chicago Bulls of the NBA in 1985.

His ownership of both the Bulls and the White Sox made it relatively easy for him to let Michael Jordan take a respite from the Bulls to play in the White Sox minor league organization.
