Hank Blalock

All-Star third baseman Hank Blalock advanced rapidly through the Texas organization and debuted with the Rangers at the age of 21 in 2002. He batted .300 and slugged 29 homers in 2003, his first full season, and followed with 32 homers the next year. A shoulder injury limited his effectiveness in 2006, and in 2007 he missed much of the year with leg and back injuries.
