Scouting Report
"Around the league, Boddicker is known as a junk ball pitcher, a apitcher who strives for shutouts and will not throw a fastball to a batter in order to preserve a shutout… He has a fastball that rarely goes over 85 MPH, and he is smart enough to know he cannot throw it past any good major league hitter. He spots his fastball, in and out, up and down, then comes at batters with a curve, off-speed pitch and "FOSH", a funny name for a forkball… He has excellent control of all his pitches." — from the 1984 Scouting Report
