When he made the Tiger rotation out of spring training as a 20-year old in 2003, Jeremy Bonderman was the youngest player to be on an opening day roster for Detroit in 25 years. Pitching for a dismal team, the husky right-hander struggled to 19 losses, but never stopped battling. The nest season he won 11 games and he followed with two seasons where he captured 14 victories, lowering his ERA each year. In Game Four of the 2006 AL Division Series against the Yankees, Bonderman held New York hitless for five innings and tore through the powerful Bombers lineup to seal the series.
