Dan Briggs

In 1977, Dan Briggs recorded two unassissted double plays in one game, becoming one of a handul of first basemen to accomplish that rare feat. The tan California-native never lived up to expectations with the Angels, and spent his last four big league seasons with four different teams. Originally a left-handed pitcher, he converted to a position player but had trouble with the glove and never displayed much power in the majors.
