Mike Coolbaugh

Signed to a contract in 1990, Mike Coolbaugh was still in the minor leagues 15 years later in the Astros organization. A 33-year old veteran by that time, with just 44 games at the major league level, Coolbaugh hit 27 homers and drove in 101 runs for Houston's AAA affiliate in Round Rock, earning an MVP award and his third taste of the big leagues in September.
