Notes
Twice in his career, Garcia was involved in 1-0 games where the losing pitcher allowed just one hit - a solo home run. On August 23, 2005, Garcia lost to the Twins at the Metrodome, when the only hit he allowed was a solo homer by Jacque Jones in the 8th inning. On June 22, 2006, Garcia was on the other side of the equation, as he received the win when teammate Jim Thome slugged a home run off Cardinals' pitcher Anthony Reyes to win the game for the Sox, 1-0.

Matchup Data
Through September 12, 2006, Garcia was 13-3 with a 2.66 ERA against the Angels.
