Pete Incaviglia
As a rookie with the Texas Rangers in 1986, Pete Incaviglia nearly broke the single-season record for strikeouts (he racked up 186). But the big right-handed hitting outfielder also slugged 30 homers. In his next four seasons with Texas, his homer totals slowly diminished, and he spent the remainder of his career bouncing among several teams. He finished with 206 home runs, his most crucial coming in Game One of the 1993 NLCS to tie the game for the Phillies in the fourth inning.
