Best Season: 2000
Kent hit a career-high .334, a mark about 45 points above his norm. He blasted 41 doubles, seven triples, 33 homers, and scored 114 runs. Despite the fact that he was in the top five in only one offensive category (fourth in RBI with 125), he won the MVP Award. I don't know what he did with the actual trophy itself, but he should have given it to Barry Bonds, because without Barry, Kent doesn't have the great season he had.

Replaced
Kent got his first starting job with the Mets in 1993, replacing the hole at second base following the retirement of veteran Willie Randolph.
Best Strength as a Player
Driving in runs.
Largest Weakness as a Player
Cohesiveness is defined by Webster's as: "sticking, holding, or working together as a united whole." Kent has had a problem sticking or working as part of a unti in every place he's played. At some point, it stops being everyone else's problem, and Kent himself must be blamed for some of it.
