Bing Miller
A nine-time .300 hitter, Bing Miller was a usefull player for Connie Mack's Philadelphia A's of the 1920s and early 1930s, starting in the outfield for three pennant-winners. An excellent fielder, Miller teamed withA l Simmons and Mule Haas in Mack's outer defense, and became a fan favorite. The tall, lean right-hander hit .368 with seven hits in the five-game World Series win over the Cubs in 1929.
