Preserving the No-No
Moryn made a shoestring catch to record the final out in Don Cardwell's no-hitter against the Cardinals, on May 15, 1960. Playing left field, Moryn sped in and scooped up a soft liner off the bat of Joe Cunningham to help Cardwell make history. Ironically, a few weeks later, Moryn was traded to the Cardinals, where he replaced Cunningham in the outfield.
