Mark Mulder
A coveted left-hander out of Michigan State University, Mark Mulder signed with the Oakland Athletics and eventually won the Cy Young Award. With excellent control and a hard low fastball, Mulder won between 15 and 21 games each season from 2001 and 2005, helping the A's and Cardinals to the post-season five times. He and fellow lefty Barry Zito and right-hander Tim Hudson formed a vaunted trio at the top of the A's rotation.
