Arriving in Philadelphia as Connie Mack was dismantling a dynasty, Myers shut out the Senators 4-0 in his first ML game (10/6/15) and pitched 315 innings as a rookie in 1916. He won 28 games for four last-place Athletics teams before being traded to Cleveland. He pitched for Cleveland for the 1919-1920 seasons. The Boston Red Sox acquired him for the remainder of that season until 1922. He had 55 wins over his eight year career.
