Terry Pendleton

For the first half of his career, Terry Pendleton was a Gold Glove third baseman who was able to keep his job becasue of his range and soft hands at the hot corner. But after signing with the Atlanta Braves as a free agent in 1991, he took advantage of his new home park and batted .340 at Fulton County Stadium. His efforts helped the Braves go from worst to first, and Pendleton was rewarded with the Most Valuable Player Award.
