Francisco Rodriguez
Thanks to a loop-hole in the rules, Francisco "Frankie" Rodriguez found his way onto the Angels' playoff roster in 2002. It was a good thing for Anaheim that he did, because he pitched 18 1/3 innings, fanning 28 while allowing just 10 hits as the Halos earned their first World Series championship. Late in 2004, the 22-year old right-hander with the goggles became the Angels closer, replacing Troy Percival.
