Was 8-5 with Corning in his first pro season, earning a promotion to Omaha, where he was 12-10 in 1969 and 8-12 in 1970. In 1971 he started the season at Omaha again, and went 5-2 with a 1.48 ERA before being promoted to the Royals for good.
