  • Anonymous said: Dick Stuart had an impossible Minor League Career. As I recall he had hit 60 Home Runs one year before being called up to the majors by Pittsburgh. Boy, what a hitter he was. Power Plus. FAB of HB 2:35AM 11/16/11
  • Anonymous said: Dick Stuart was a prolific Home Run Hitter. A very scarry man when he came to the plate. I remember seeing him hit line shots in batting practice that were amazing. It was 1959 in the Los Angeles Coliseum against my beloved Dodgers. He could really tie into that baseball. After the game, I got his autograph and thanked him. He was very nice to me. A real gentleman. He was getting tips from some man who was showing him how to swivel his hips into the ball before he started his arm swing. I found it fascinating because he knew his stuff and Dick went on to be an even better hitter after that. I wonder who that little (about 5'-7") man was. Must have been "someone" or Dick would never have listened so intently and practice what the man was saying. Interesting. I'm 70 yrs. old now and still an avid autograph collector. My name is Frederick Buck of Huntington Beach, California. Thank You. 2:31AM 11/16/11
