Brandon Webb

Built like a horse, Brandon Webb was the ace of the Diamondbacks staff after the exit of Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson. In 2006, the righty won the National League Cy Young Award when he led the league in wins and shutouts. He followed it up with a Cy Young runner-up finish in 2007, winning 18 games and again leading the loop in shutouts as he helped Arizona to their first post-season appearance in five years.

Webb went 6-0 with a 1.98 ERA in April of 2008, becoming just the fifth pitcher to go 6-0 in April... He started the 2005 season 6-0, and started 2006 8-0. In 2008, he won his first nine starts, becoming the first pitcher to do so since Andy Hawkins in 1985.
