Todayinbaseball.com was started as a labor of love in 2005. My approach was to tell the stories behind the "today in baseball history" one-liners found in newspapers and websites; who was involved, what was the story behind the story, what took place before and after? I use skills learned as a news reporter to research stories and verify facts.

A great deal of baseball history occurs in the offseason - trades, franchise shifts, post-season awards, etc., so the regular season, playoffs and World Series may come and go, but www.todayinbaseball.com will still be here.
